What about Aloès ?

There is something deeply genuine about Aloes’ relationship with the sea.

Unlike many young profiles discovering yachting through lifestyle imagery or social media influence, her connection to navigation was built long before that — through offshore passages, sailing culture, seamanship and a family environment where the sea was always part of daily life.

From an early age, Aloes developed a natural affinity for sailing alongside her father and grandfather, progressing through Glénans sailing programs, offshore experiences and increasingly technical navigation environments.

By the time she reached secondary school, she already knew she wanted to dedicate her professional life to maritime command and sailing operations.

Today, she represents a rare kind of young crew member: someone entering yachting not to escape toward fantasy, but to continue building genuine maritime experience.

For me, yachting is first and foremost an opportunity to learn, navigate and grow through real life at sea

Her profile combines something particularly valuable onboard: strong sailing culture alongside a surprisingly grounded and humble work ethic.

Despite her passion for navigation and offshore sailing, Aloes shows no resistance toward the operational realities of yacht life.

Cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping support, teamwork and demanding schedules are not viewed as constraints, but as part of collective life onboard.

The sea has always taught me the importance of humility, teamwork and consistency.

This maturity is already visible through her experiences at sea.

For her age, Aloes has accumulated remarkable offshore exposure, including transatlantic sailing between the Azores and Quebec onboard a Critère 8, offshore night watches and operational sailing responsibilities in demanding environments.

She also worked onboard the traditional ketch Don du Vent in Marseille, where she experienced the rhythm and intensity of professional sailing operations while confirming both her physical resilience and her long-term commitment to maritime life.

Onboard, Aloes brings a calm, stable and naturally cooperative energy.

She integrates through authenticity rather than performance, preferring meaningful crew cohesion and operational involvement over superficial image or status.

Her profile feels particularly aligned with owner-operated sailing yachts, exploration-oriented programs and crews where navigation remains central to the onboard culture.

I’ve always preferred environments where people share the same passion for the sea and work together with simplicity and respect.

What also makes her especially interesting is her balance between seamanship and hospitality awareness.

Alongside her maritime training, Aloes already works in customer-facing environments and instinctively understands the importance of guest interaction, group living and positive onboard atmosphere.

This gives her a natural versatility highly valuable onboard smaller and mid-sized sailing yachts where adaptability across departments is essential.

Professionally, her long-term vision is remarkably coherent.

Beyond yachting, she aims to continue toward the ENSM and eventually evolve into merchant marine command with a strong interest in sustainable navigation and sailing cargo operations.

This deeper environmental and philosophical dimension gives additional substance to a profile already strongly anchored in real maritime culture.

Extra Talent

Genuine Offshore Sailing Culture & Watersports Lifestyle

Beyond her professional objectives, Aloes brings a deeply authentic sailing and outdoor lifestyle that naturally strengthens her compatibility within active sailing yacht environments.

Surfing, kiteboarding, offshore sailing, watersports and practical seamanship are not hobbies added onto her profile — they are part of her daily identity and relationship with the sea.

Combined with her appreciation for manual work, rope handling, repairs and operational deck life, this creates a profile particularly aligned with dynamic owner-operated sailing programs and adventure-oriented crews.

This genuine maritime coherence is rare at her age and gives her a natural legitimacy within real sailing environments.

I enjoy the demanding side of life at sea because it creates strong crews and meaningful experiences.

Beyond her technical and operational qualities, what ultimately defines Aloes is her sincerity.

She is not trying to imitate a yachting lifestyle — she is simply continuing the maritime path she has already been building for years through discipline, navigation and collective life at sea.

What matters most to me is being onboard a boat where navigation, learning and crew spirit are all truly part of the experience

Aloes represents a new generation of qualified crew members whose strength comes from authenticity, seamanship and a sincere long-term commitment to maritime life.
